Installation of language packs

Language dropdown in Landing Page Platform

Upload all files from the public directory in the language pack zip to the root of your Landing Page Platform installation. That's it. When you refresh your Landing Page Platform dashboard you should see a language dropdown at the right top with the newly uploaded language included.

Changing the default language

The default language is English. If you want to change this to another installed language, open the file /local/app/config/app.php and update the locale setting to the language of your choice.

Show login in different language

If you want to show the login, registration or password reminder page in a different language, add ?lang=[locale] to the url. For example http://pages-saas.nowsquare.com/login?lang=de.

 */

'locale' => 'en',

Add your own language

Let's say you want to translate the system to Spanish. The locale in the example below would be "es" and the language locale would be "es_ES".

  1. Copy the directory /local/app/lang/en/ to /local/app/lang/[locale]/.
  2. Translate all files in the new /[locale]/ directory.
  3. Open /local/app/lang/[locale]/i18n.php and change:
    "language_title" => "[Name of the language, e.g. EspaƱol]",
    "language_code" => "[locale]",
    "intl_locale" => "[language_locale]",

Once done, a language dropdown will appear in the right top of the system.

Remove a language

In order to remove a language, delete the /local/app/lang/[locale]/ directory.
